K. M. Saurel won her first writing award at the age of six and decided she aspired to be a starving writer in a garret. She holds an interdisciplinary BA in literature, history, and creative writing, which she likes to call a major in historical fantasy. When her nose isn’t in a book, she sews her own clothes, brews her own liqueurs, and duels very badly with a longsword.
